Technical Data: Vintage: 2000. Denomination of Origin: D.O. Ca. Rioja. Type: Crianza Red. Alcohol content: 12,5%. Grape variety: 80% Tempranillo & 20% Garnacha. Grape source: The Rioja Alta Region. Sweetness index: 1,8 g./l. Production method: The must is fermented at a maximum temperature of 28ºC. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to oak casks to slowly mature for 18 months, followed by a further 12 months bottle ageing. Maturation site: Cenicero. Type of oak casks: American oak. Tasting comments: Deep ruby red, the bouquet reveals its 18 months oak ageing with clear notes of vanilla. Carta de Oro is a full-bodied wine, mature, well-structured and harmonious. Other comments: Stored under the right temperature and humidity conditions, this wine will develop to achieve its full maturity. Equally, the wine is released ready to drink.
