16ºC. Production method: The carefully selected grapes from La Rioja are fermented slowly at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. During the fermentation process, the wine is moved daily so as to properly extract the varietal aromas that are typical of Tempranillo grapes. These tannins and colour will then give the wine its character. The wine is then matured in American oak casks and a selection of various vintages are blended together. Tasting comments: Intense red coloured wine that denotes a lengthy maceration of the grape skin in the grape juice. A potent aroma which reminds us of the red fruit that is typical of the Tempranillo variety. Recommendations: Although this wine is ready for drinking right away, it is considerably enhanced if stored in bottle. Ideal as an accompaniment to all types of meats, pastas and cheese. |
